Click Club sets out to bring a little fun into your P.C. Give Mum and Dad a chance. Don't send the kids to bed just yet, you'll need them to sort out the computer.

I have been thinking of this idea for some time now. I read the papers every day, and mostly they don’t exactly fill you with hope and joy. I can’t believe that things are really as bad as that, and I sincerely hope that most people are decent, kind and friendly. This club is all about making friends, maybe with people you would otherwise never have come across, and spreading the word that kindness and human warmth are not to be jeered at but admired and valued. I hope that you will add your voice – every new member will help our club to grow, spreading a positive message to everyone.

If you believe in the up-side, join us now. Let me make it clear that I am not asking anything from you except joining us and passing on the idea to your friends and colleagues. In the days of pen and paper there would have been quite considerable expenses with the old “pen friend” idea but now with the modern Internet we can send messages around the world at no cost at all. So membership is entirely free. All I am asking you to do is fill in your name and e-mail to become a part of it.

I am not going to sell your details on to a dodgy list broker. You will not receive bundles of unwanted post and e-mails. I guess that most people who hear of us will want to join and take part in what could be a very exciting idea – no catch, just spreading friendship.

ALRIGHT, BUT WHAT DO MEMBERS ACTUALLY DO?   Simple. Be positive. See the good in people and find fresh hope in every new day. I want this club to belong to the members and at this early stage it is difficult to predict the various directions in which it may grow. However, here are a few possible ideas that will show you the kind of things I have in mind…
